Since Opening in 2006, the nursery has been owned by Linda & Roy Conway who have built up an excellent reputation and are supported by long term reliable loyal staff.
We follow a strict recruitment policy. All staff are subjected to security checks. A DBS check, reference and qualification check to ensure that we only employ the best members of staff who fit into our friendly team. All staff members are required to complete training courses. The paediatric first aid, child protection safeguarding, food hygiene, health and safety, fire awareness.
Our Nursery is a bright and spacious house. There are five separate rooms for the children spread over two floors, each accommodating different age groups. Four rooms downstairs for our younger children & our Pre School room is upstairs.
Outside we have a fenced garden area, planted with trees and flowers which give the children daily access to fresh air. Outdoor activities are on carefully chosen apparatus and wheeled toys in a totally safe environment.
As parents, we believe that your child’s happiness is one of the most important aspects which affect his or her development. We feel we have created a happy, sociable, fun and stimulating environment for all of our children to feel safe and secure at all times. Our relationship with both parents & children is paramount to the smooth running of the nursery. Our management team greet all children and parents in the morning before they go to their relevant rooms to meet their carers. At the end of each day parents receive a personal handover, which we believe is very important to get a good overview of their child’s day. If you have any queries regarding your child’s needs throughout his or her stay with us, we are available to speak to you at any time.
We take nutrition very seriously at Irlam Road Nursery. We have a cook who works hard to provide a variety of interesting and tasty menus. Naturally, dietary requests are taken into account if your child has any.
The nursery accepts all childcare vouchers, tax free childcare and 2 year, 3 & 4 year government funding.
We have been awarded Good by Ofsted in all areas and we hold a level 5 in our food Hygiene.
